The difference between strong magnet and common magnet
Magnetism will be weakened by the influence of external environment, such as temperature change, other magnetic field or electric field interference. For magnets of different materials, the degree of extinction is different. In order to make the demagnetized magnet have magnetism again, only the method of magnetizing is used to magnetize the magnet again.
Metal magnet, that is to say, the strong magnet, is stronger than the general ferrite magnet, because the surface magnetic field strength of the metal magnet after magnetization is greater. This is determined by the physical properties of different magnetic materials.
The surface treatment of the strong magnet can be divided into: zinc plating, nickel plating, epoxy plating, gold plating, black zinc plating. No matter what kind of plating, the plating engineer should understand the characteristics of the strong magnet.
The strong magnet belongs to the powder metallurgy category, with high surface activity. When phosphating, special attention should be paid to avoid damaging the surface characteristics of the strong magnet. Otherwise, the surface of the electroplated product will not be flat and smooth. The relevant formulas of electroplated hardware and magnet are different, but the electroplating process and equipment are the same. Magnet factory should pay special attention to the selection of electroplating supply. Before electroplating, the chamfer shall be at a reasonable angle. Too small angle is not easy to be plated. Too large angle will result in too small product size, which will not be accepted by customers. In the electroplating process, the adjustment of voltage should be reasonable, and the temperature of bath water should also be appropriate. If any link is not done well, the effect of electroplating will not meet the requirements, and the relevant salt spray test fails to meet the requirements.
